KRCM's Stance On Pets At The Flying Field

Annual dues are required in order to be a member of KRCM and memberships are valid from Jan 1 to Dec 31.

The membership fee after September 1st of the current year is 50% of the annual dues.

Memberships for the coming year will be accepted after December 1st.

MAAC Membership is separate, and must be valid in order to fly at the KRCM field.

All pets must be restrained on a leash, that is connected to the owner, or a responsible person at all times. Alternately, pets must be tied up on an anchored lead that prevents the pet from being able to travel into the aircraft parking area. All pet waste (feces) must be cleaned up immediately by the owner and taken home when the owner leaves.

Open Member – 18 years or over as of 01 January $100.00

Student Membership – 19 to 25 years of age and attending Post-Secondary School $25.00

Junior Member – under 18 years as of 01 January $0.00

How To Sign-Up/Renew A Membership In Person

2) Print the form.

3) Complete the form and bring it to a club meeting with a cheque or cash and present it to the Treasurer.

3) E-Transfer (not PayPal) your payment to the following address.

Note: dues can also be payed directly to The Treasurer in person at club meetings, at the field, or mailed to his home address (found on the club roster).

In order to fly at the KRCM field, take advantage of the training program, etc. a pilot must also be a member of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC).

Should the unthinkable happen and one of our aircraft crash into a vehicle, structure, or a person, it is imperative that an incident report is filed with MAAC as quickly as possible. You are reminded to take lots of photos of the incident and collect as much information as possible.

If you cannot attend a general club meeting but want your voice heard during important votes you can download and fill out the form below and then appoint a proxy for yourself.

Below is a link to a nomination form for the upcoming club executive election. If you would like to nominate someone for one of the positions (and we encourage you to do so) please make sure you contact the person that you are nominating and get their approval to do so. After the form is submitted, the President will contact the person to verify their willingness to let their name stand

You must be a current (paid-up) member to nominate someone for the Executive and the person that you are nominating must also be a current member.

Unless otherwise specified (due to holiday conflicts, etc.), general club meetings are held on the third Monday of the month.
